Chili Cheese "Fries" (7 Points+)

I saw a Jack in the Box advertisement for chili cheese fries and immediately had a craving.  I had a coupon for Simply Potatoes hashbrowns so that formed the basis for my creation.  Jeremy thinks using potato wedges baked in the oven would be better but agrees this was still tasty.

1/2 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
4 tsp olive oil, divided
1 bag Simply Potatoes Hashbrowns (they have different flavors, I used original)
Salt and pepper
1 can Hormel Turkey Chili (I used "without beans", if you use "with beans" points+ may be affected)
1 cup reduced fat shredded cheese

Saute onion and garlic in 2 tsp olive oil.  Add bag of potatoes.  Cook according to package directions but using only 2 tsp of oil instead of 2 Tbsp.  Before the flip season with salt and pepper.

Preheat oven to 350.
When potatoes are finished, put 2/3 of the potatoes in a glass baking dish (If you prefer to use all the potatoes, add 1 Points+ value per serving).  Pour can of chili over potatoes and top with shredded cheese.  Bake for 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and chili is heated through.

7 Points+ per serving (8 if you use all the potatoes) and you get almost a complete dairy serving.

$0.96 per serving or $1.06 per serving if you use all the potatoes).
