YoNanan a.k.a. Banana Soft Serve (0 Points+)

Did you say ZERO points plus?!!!  Yup!  I heard of this recipe several years ago while watching an episode of Rachael Ray.  I re-encountered it a few months back on an eating raw website and have been making it all the time. Funny enough, we saw a commercial for a product called YoNaNa which will make this for you without a food processor, which is totally silly!!  Anyways, here is the recipe.  Enjoy!

1 frozen banana, sliced (6 or so pieces so that it will blend easier)
splash of coconut milk, water, etc.

Place frozen banana slices into food processor (a blender will not work the same, sorry!).  Pulse until all large chunks are gone.  Add splash of liquid and let the food processor run until it looks like soft serve.

Done!

Occasionally we'll add bits of unsweetened chocolate and unsweetened coconut for a little crunch.

Cost is less than 30 cents, basically one banana.

  1. Did you get this from choosingraw.com? I love Gena's blog!

I don't know how it affects WWP, but I've also made this with a combo of banana + other frozen fruits (berries are especially good), and it's excellent for something a little different.
